"This artwork is a very special one for me. It was created at the time when Putin moved his many troops to the border of Ukraine, similar to the arrangement of figures in a chess game. Unfortunately, history has shown that it did not remain with the lineup, and it came to the (chess) confrontation with horrible consequences. This work has accompanied me from the beginning and has been revised several times in the process of its creation and has helped me to deal with the still incomprehensible events" - Sibylle Werkmeister (Contemporary Artist)
